Darryl Derouin, President

Darryl is the President of CB Securities and is a Professional Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. Darryl's impressive marketing and technical expertise is gained from more than fifteen years experience in the evaluation and divestiture of oil and gas properties in Calgary.

Since forming CB Securities in 1999, Darryl has been responsible for all of our corporate and asset divestiture programs totaling more than $1 Billion. Darryl's goals are focused: maximize proceeds for vendors and help purchasers obtain the relevant, useful information they need to properly evaluate prospects. Darryl has managed all aspects of the divestiture process for his clients, including technical and economic analysis, design and execution of customized marketing strategies and materials, tax strategies, and negotiation of sale agreements.

Before establishing CB Securities, Darryl was a partner with Waterous Securities Inc., where he marketed and negotiated billions of dollars of property divestitures for clients. Prior to pursuing divestitures full-time, Darryl worked with the engineering firm of Gilbert Laustsen Jung Associates (now GLJ Petroleum Consultants) where he performed reservoir and economic evaluations of properties throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
